~Sometimes when I'm walking Beau, I sing the song "Dumb Dog" from Annie in my head. This is especially true if he is being pokey and taking his time.
~While I was singing "Dumb Dog" to myself today, it made me think of "Tomorrow" from Annie and I got to wondering- what exactly is a "bottom dollar"? Is it your last dollar? I guess "Bet your last dollar that tomorrow, there'll be sun" just doesn't roll off the tongue as well.
~While I was in the car on the way to work, Motownphilly came on and I turned it up and jammed out. I love Jammin' 105.9. :D

I only post links like lolcats and such as and the such as
I didn't get this the first time I saw it, but ever since I saw the video, it's hilarious.
Yes, I love lolcats. It's my latest addiction. I really want to make one for Beau or Georgia, but well, I'm lazy. Oh, and if you don't get the picture, don't feel bad. Just go to youtube and search Miss Teen South Carolina. And prepare to be amazed by her dumbness and such as.

Holiday . . . is the best day . . . the ice cream day.

Today is a wonderful day that I can celebrate 2 of my favorite "people". And no, one of them is not Columbus, who is so stupid that he thought America was India. Bonehead.
The first is Miss Stephanie Marie Arsenault (who could have been Carl, God willing, but let's all be thankful that she wasn't). Stephanie is the best friend a girl could ask for, a near-professional Maid of Honor, a killer cook ( that pumpkin cake was amazing, not to mention her famous pumpkin chocolate chip muffins), an extremely fun drinking buddy, probably the most quoted contributor in the quote book, a wonderful (and clean!) roommate and, with her degree (well, near-degree) in counseling, an excellent listener. 28 years ago, on October 8, 1979, this great lady was unleashed on the world. I know I'm glad for it. You should be too. :)
The second is Mr. Beau Leonard. We adopted him one year ago today. Major props to the hubby for letting me bring this spoied dogger into our household. Beau is a natural hunter (you should see him bark at the squirrels in the back yard!), but is really a lover (and a cuddler) rather than a fighter. I know that I have definitely had more licks, cuddles, and stinky breaths breathed in my face in the last year than I ever have before. And before Zach, I dated some weirdos. :) I kid, I kid. (no, actually I don't, but that is another blog entry).
But seriously, a very happy birthday to Stephanie and a super 1st dog-aversary to Beau (who my parents have dubbed "Beau No-Regard for Sweet Pea". It's a play on Beauregard and Sweet Pea is the annoying dog next door who always barks. My parents <3 Beau.)
