Sarah, Steph and I took our respective men candy tubing on the river this Saturday. Originally there was a larger group, but some people suck and it ended up just being the 6 of us. That didn't matter because it was still loads of fun! We stopped at the gas station for some snacks first (klassy!) and then it was off to Bezdek's. Cooler tubes are free on Sunday and that was lucky because we needed 2 for all the beer that we had. We played several fun rounds of "either or", our favorite tubing game and just enjoyed each other's company, while consuming about 60 beers, cheese cubes, gardetto's, sour gummi worms and bugles.
On the way home we stopped off at Herbert's Taco Hut (another tubing tradition) on the way home for some delicious Mexican food. I tried to get everyone to go downtown for dollar drinks that night, but we were all too tired (even me) so we all ended up calling it a night.
All in all, I'd have to say it was one of the best tubing trips that I can remember (ha ha).

MMMhmmmm
So . . . tomorrow is the last meeting of my 3rd class. I found out that before this class, I have a 4.0. I have made As on every assignment so far. The teacher told us "not to worry about grades" because she just wanted us to be able to "have intelligent conversations" upon graduation. The guidelines for this project are slim and unspecific at best and I am pretty sure that since my husband is getting a promotion that we will be moving in the next year and I won't be able to finish my program anyway. Oh, and I am contemplating a career change. All this leads to the following MO for completing the project: 4 cocktails down and many more to go!

COLUMBIA, S.C. — Police on Wednesday were investigating how a naked couple fell 50 feet from the roof of a downtown office building to their deaths.
The bodies were found on the road by a passing cabdriver around 5 a.m. Wednesday.
Clothing was discovered on the roof, leading authorities to suspect the man and woman, in their early 20s, may have been having sex. Their identities were not released.
"It's too early to rule out anything," Columbia police Sgt. Florence McCants said, but McCants said a preliminary investigation didn't show any sign of foul play.
