Sarah, Steph and I took our respective men candy tubing on the river this Saturday. Originally there was a larger group, but some people suck and it ended up just being the 6 of us. That didn't matter because it was still loads of fun! We stopped at the gas station for some snacks first (klassy!) and then it was off to Bezdek's. Cooler tubes are free on Sunday and that was lucky because we needed 2 for all the beer that we had. We played several fun rounds of "either or", our favorite tubing game and just enjoyed each other's company, while consuming about 60 beers, cheese cubes, gardetto's, sour gummi worms and bugles.
On the way home we stopped off at Herbert's Taco Hut (another tubing tradition) on the way home for some delicious Mexican food. I tried to get everyone to go downtown for dollar drinks that night, but we were all too tired (even me) so we all ended up calling it a night.
All in all, I'd have to say it was one of the best tubing trips that I can remember (ha ha).

aww...look at me, you and my hot man candy - we should do that more often. It was the best - and when we go to NOLA it will be one of the best trips there too!! This summer is the kick assest. Did that make sense?
i thought you couldn't bring beer tubing any more?
they limit cooler size in the city limits, but the place we go is outside of city limits so you can bring as much as you want. So basically, go to Bezdek's and it will be the same as it has always been.
